With immediate effect, or as existing contracts permit, BASF is increasing the prices of the polyalcohols neopentylglycol (Neol®) and 1,6-hexanediol (HDO) in Europe as follows:
Product Price Increase
Neopentylglycol 250 Euro per metric ton
1,6-Hexanediol 300 Euro per metric ton
The price increase is driven by the global supply-demand situation and rising raw material costs. It is also necessary to support BASF’s ongoing commitment to providing the highest levels of product and service quality while supporting the continued growth of our customers.
